DESCRIPTION:

A natural, air-entraining, and plasticizing admixture for plastering mortars that improves workability, eases the application process, and enables application on humid or wet masonry substrates. Plastering mortar modified with RRS significantly reduces water absorption of plastering mortar.

USAGE:
RRS is used for modification of Portland cement / silica sand-based plastering mortar to significantly reduce water absorption, suitable for renovation of existing buildings or application at new buildings external walls. Reduces the creation of molds, fungi, wet spots or efflorescence. The lifetime of plastering mortar modified with RRS exceeds the lifetime of general-purpose plastering mortars by multiple times and extends the lifespan of paint application.

SHELF LIFE: At least 24 months from the date of manufacture in unopened original packaging stored in cold and dry places at a temperature from +5°C to +30°C protected against high temperatures and direct sunlight.

DOSAGE:
MIXING RATIO FOR EXTERIOR WALLS: 150 KG SAND + 50 KG CEMENT + 1 BAG RRS (2 KG)

PRODUCT MIXING: Recommended mixing is made in gravity mixer. 19 liters of water is added to the mixer as well followed by 50 KG cement, 30 KG sand, and 1 bag (2 KG) of RRS. Note: Covering the mixer is recommended to reduce dusting. Mix for 5 minutes then add the remaining materials (120 kg sand) and mix for additional 5 minutes. Add water if necessary. Note: RRS can reduce the water required to achieve desirable workability. application with fiberglass mesh is strongly recommended.

APPLICATION:
Application of plaster is done following normal standard procedures.
CARE AFTER APPLICATION:
It is necessary to prevent the plaster from drying too fast since the optimal moisture level enables permanent hydration of cement materials and minimizes cracking. Keep the plaster surface wet for 2 days, especially in dry or windy weather, or under direct sunlight.
IMPORTANT NOTE: RRS can NOT be used as an admixture for production of structural concrete.

SAFETY, HEALTH PROTECTION, HYGIENIC RULES AND FIRST AID
The product is safe when used properly. Normal hygiene practices must be followed when working with the product. Do not drink, do not eat, do not smoke during work. We recommend the use of proper working clothes, protective gloves and, if necessary, protective eyewear or face protection. If the product is accidentally eaten, do not induce vomiting, seek medical help and show them labeling on the package. If eye contact occurs, wash immediately with plenty of clean water. In the event of an allergic reaction or other difficulties, seek immediate medical help. Follow the usual safety guidelines. Do not mix with unknown substances.
